Haslam is a dynamic leader with deep experience transforming businesses in markets across Greater China and Southeast Asia. Haslam has since moved to a newly established role at Jardine, chairing steering committee meetings for a large transformation project. In this role, he always provided a clear “big picture” strategy so stakeholders knew exactly what was required on the operations front. Once the big picture was cemented, Haslam regularly removed any road blocks so the best results could be attained.
From early on, Haslam recognised the importance of technology and developing an organisation that is ahead of the curve. Haslam is responsible for establishing and executing Jardine Group’s Asia-wide digital transformation strategy across all verticals, building on the Group’s existing strengths, network and customer insights to drive digital transformation at pace, leverage scale and enable growth strategies.
Being a Regional Managing Director, Haslam is responsible for cross sharing knowledge and best practice within the region. He has created a platform for the region to leverage ‘know how’ which has been instrumental in knowledge sharing. Haslam also oversees two significant IT projects where robots are utilised to capture and collate data, bringing improvements for the entire organisation.
